Last night I had a very passionate conversation with a friend about science, faith, and why the absence of a known explanation with the former does not vindicate the ruthless application of the later. Mainly we were talking about the Bible, but I keep coming back to this again and again in my mind... just because a story is based in a sci-fi world doesn't mean that everything is explicable through science. After all, if scientists could explain everything wouldn't we have wormhole technology? Heheh... I liked your list, by the way. And toilet paper is better than tasmanian wolves.
