Browsing Did you know you have a link from Wikipedia? I think you're a celebrity now Mr. Ferm. Posted by Belicious. (December 13, 2005 - 11:45 PM)
Which is odd
Because it was for a story I wrote oh so long ago. Who would have thought that the Abridged Atlas Shrugged - which I typed out in about five minutes after tossing the actual novel across the room when I finished it - would bring me so much more fame than any of my mediocre fiction writing.
Well, It was pretty funny.
Have faith, however, that greater things will come. Posted by scrumdidlyump. (December 25, 2005 - 8:39 PM)
I would give you a cup of sympathetic hot cocoa but you're 3000 miles away. I wouldn't claim to know how much publicity you've strived for besides a website, but I know that if you became exponentially popular, you would most likely have suicidal fangirls screaming to carry your child and boxes of cigarette butts sent to you for your birthday. In some twisted way that could be flattering, but I think you're better off being mediocre. Posted by Belicious. (January 7, 2006 - 7:33 PM)
And then again... Modesty aside, mediocrity is for wooses (unless one is a Buddhist monk, and then there is that whole middle-path-to enlightment thing. Are you glimpsing Nirvana, Mr. Ferm?) I strive for greatness in all at which I don't suck monkey balls. All in all, I feel it is a good plan. And just think of all of the air filters you could build from those free cigarette butts!
